What We Do
Have you ever looked at paintings in a gallery or objects in a museum and wondered how these collections are sustained? Or looked at your prized broken vase and thought where can I get this restored? This is what we do. We care for your treasures.

About Artlab
Our team of qualified conservators provide specialised preservation and restoration services for all works of art and historic items. Established in 1985, Artlab Australia is a South Australian Government business enterprise located in the centre of Adelaide’s exciting North Terrace cultural precinct. Our laboratories are amongst the largest and best equipped in Australia.

Our Clients
Artlab is responsible for the conservation programs of the State’s extensive collections in Adelaide. Our business includes corporate clientele, galleries, museums, libraries, other cultural institutions and private clients with family treasures all over Australia and overseas.

Artlab’s Culture
We are committed to delivering first rate conservation practices embracing national and international recognised codes of practice of the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material ensuring cultural heritage can be enjoyed by future generations.

Artlab’s ethos is to provide a contemporary conservation service and to increase awareness in the importance of cultural heritage in our global history.
