Artlab Consultation Days
With the support of Arts SA, Artlab Australia manages
a free community information service on the

The service is principally designed for individuals
and families who need advice on art and heritage
items although
the service is used by clubs, associations,
church groups, galleries, historical societies,
museums and small businesses.

What happens at a Consultation Day appointment?

Artlab consultations provide an opportunity for people to discuss the condition and care of an item with a specialist conservator. Artlab has specialists who conserve oil paintings, watercolours, prints, drawings, books, maps and photographs, as well as decorative arts such as ceramics and glassware, ethnographic and historical objects, sculpture and textiles. The appointments last approximately twenty minutes.
